Happy Easter!

How did you spend the Easter festival? I had a pretty cool time on that day.

This was the first Easter outside my home city. I was so glad that I could experience a very strong festival atmosphere in the family that I am living with now. Since the family is Catholic, all members had special activities for Easter. In the morning, we went to church as it was a very traditional activity. Then, we had an Easter party and an egg hunt, which was very new to me, so after a great feast, I was so excited about the egg hunt, just like a kid. I even competed with the children to get the most eggs. I had fun spending the time with them. What's more, they had prepared gifts for me. How sweet they were!

O... I was like a kid...

First gift --- Mini Mouse!

Second Gift--- Easter bunny

The male cat in their house is called Tiger
I hope I can own a cat like this one... He's so cute.  And, I cut the cat's nails for the first time.

My Career

''A man can succeed at almost anything for which he has unlimited enthusiasm.”
Charles M. Schwab
I know this principle, and I am sure that many people agree with It. Yet, this golden rule cannot comfort the great concern deep in my heart. I am extremely worried about my career because I haven't decided my major in college yet. Also, I don't know which path is the most suitable for me. Many people give me different opinions. However, they cannot clear my mind and even make me confused. ( Well, I am not blaming on them, I just don't have my own idea.)
So, I went to look around in the University fair held in our campus this week. Finally, I was attracted by the Art Institute of Seattle (AI), and I joined  AI's Open Day this Saturday. After the workshop in the Open day, I found that I am interested in graphic design. I think I can be enthusiastic about this kind of work.
However, when I talked about this issue with my parents, they thought that the career is competitive, and the course is pretty costly. So, they don't prefer studying in this school.
Yet, it is the only stuff that I find interested in so far. So, what can I do? Should I persuade them? Or, should I just follow their  preference, and pursue my dream later when I have my own financial ability?
It is my work in the workshop and the idea is '' going green." It is a kind of amateur. Ha

Yoshino Cherry Trees Mark the Start of Spring

Someone said ''If March comes in like a Lion, it will go out like a Lamb.''
After a long chilly, long winter, some good things  finally appear in Seattle, i.e. the cherry blossom.
Before being in the U.S, I thought it just happened in Japan. So, when I heard about the cherry blossom in the city I am living in now, I was really excited! So, I gathered a group of friends studying at UW and aprreciated that spectacular view in this weekend. Wow,  it was really amazing and I thought it is just like a wonderful land. Let's have a look at our shots!

I think it must be nice to read under the cherry tree with the falling baby pink petals. However, it was still very windy!OMG...

They are my friends who are studying at the UW. I meet them occasionally. I am so lucky because they are really nice.

A new bud, a new baby. Let's make a new hope!:)
(The baby is so cute and her parents are so nice to let us take photos of her.)
