This Wednesday, there was an annual celebration in Mobius Hall held by "Yours Truly" on our campus. "Yours Truly" is an annual publication organized by the Creative Arts Club of our college. The aim of the publication is to further creativity throughout the campus by providing a student- run publication, which allows contributors to showcase their original works of written, visual and audible art. I think the idea of "Yours Truly" is pretty good, so I decided to attend the festival.
I think the annual party was really amazing, and I appreciated it much. In the beginning, there was a violin band consisting of three performers. They played a lot of elegant, classical music. Meanwhile, the large projector behind them showed the art works contributed by students or faculties. At the same time, we enjoyed the delicious, fine food made by students. The food was awesomely good. Needless to say, the annual publication entitled “Yours Truly” was the most awesome thing, as well. Everyone could get this booklet for free. The small booklet consists of three main types of art works: prose, visual (photo or drawing) and poetry. Those art works were produced by students, faculty, alumni, featured artists, and staff of "Yours Truly". Their works are really professional.
Personally, I like taking pictures and drawing. It is a way for me to express my feelings, emotions and foster my creativity. I think it is tremendously awesome if I can publish an album including pictures and words one day. The Creative Arts Club does a great job by providing an opportunity for us to take part in publishing the annual album. Everyone can submit their works. I will probably go to submit some works. I hope I can see them posted in the next annual album.
